Environmental journalist and author, known for her books on wild swimming. ‘We need conversations like these to bring us together and help us find fresh answers and ways of connecting’.
GURJAMEER RAMDAY – Research Associate on the Deep Team, Heriot-Watt University
Marine biologist, operational and project manager, avid diver, and conservationist, with a global perspective and first-hand field and research experience of the climate crisis impact on our oceans from Fiji to the Maldives to Scotland.
KAREN CHAMBERS – Edinburgh Shoreline Project
Edinburgh Shoreline combines art and citizen science, to engage with communities round the Firth of Forth trying to protect its increasingly fragile coastal and marine biodiversity. We are all about building alliances and strengthening connections.
LUCINDA RIVERS – Director Unicef UK, The Leading Organisation for Children Working in 190 Countries
‘The climate crisis is a crisis for children. 1 billion (over half the world’s children) are at risk because of drought, floods, and air pollution. They have no hope for their future. What can decision makers do to mitigate and adapt to give this next generation hope.’
